Choose from one of 2 cabins for your romantic getaway: BearFoot 2 and BearyTale. Both of these cabins sit on the same lovely one-lane road nestled in the woods alongside Little River. They are located within walking distance to one another as well as the National Park boundary line.

Grill up a hot and savory meal on the screened-in porch, which includes a gas grill and a table for outdoor dining. Every cabin has a kitchen with a Keurig™ machine. In all of our cabins, you will also find a supply of trash bags, paper towels, bathroom tissues, dish detergent, laundry detergent, and shampoo, as well as a hairdryer, board games and wildlife food.

Our cabins are as close as you can get to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park, the best location in all of Townsend! Within seven miles of historic Cades Cove, you will be surrounded by the peacefulness of nature including with some of the most scenic views you can get and wildlife such as bears, deer and more! The perfect opportunity for pictures.

The city of Townsend has a 3-mile bike trail, a fly-fishing school, occasional bluegrass and molasses festivals, gorgeous mountain golf greens with swimming pool access, nice dining, hiking trails, horseback riding, lots of tubing opportunities, and is within seven miles of historic Cades Cove. You're only 18 miles from Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, music theaters, outlet malls, and activities of all sorts.
Pet Policies
Pets are allowed in Evergreen on the River only; as long as they are house trained and do not chew on things. If you would like them on the furniture, please bring a couple of throws for the sofa and comforter for them to sit on. Please be respectful of others guests' needs and allergies by grooming your pet before arriving.
